Oregon Chiropractic Coverage Group aims to provide locum tenens services to Chiropractic Clinics, ultimately with the goal of creating long-lasting associateships or cultivating an experience to further develop confidence in clinic ownership for locum chiropractors.

Do you need chiropractic coverage for an overdue vacation, or simply to work ON your business not IN it?
OCCG is happy to help Chiropractors of Oregon. We have been providing locum services for the last 5 years, and continue to receive requests and compliments with our locum doctors.
If traveling distance is farther than 25 miles, transportation fees must be accommodated. If over 50 miles, transportation and boarding costs must be accommodated/arranged.

Why we do, what we do.
OCCG contracts 1 or 2 locum chiropractors (new graduates or novice chiropractors) to perform and provide locum services for 1 year. This allows locum chiropractors to explore and experience Oregon’s diverse communities, experience different clinic styles (MVC-centered vs private health insurance vs cash practice; integrative clinic vs solo doc vs multi-chiro clinics) and treatment styles (manual adjusting vs low force vs rehab-focused vs specialty clinics), and understand billing and documentation more thoroughly.
The idea is to build up experience, confidence, and clinical competency for our locum chiropractors. Each year OCCG plans to find another suitable locum chiropractor to make sure other chiropractors have access to this opportunity, and thus will not typically re-contract with the same locum chiropractor.
Given the flexibility of locum tenens work, this allows for the locum chiropractor to build up their own clinic with their free time or be open to networking with contracted clinics with hopes of establishing a future associateship.
